TMC 2025 Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition: Everything you need to know about the event

TMC Exhibition

The Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) will host its 2025 Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition next month (March), in what is set to be a celebration of technical leadership and innovation for trucking professionals far and wide. For the first time since 2017, the event is heading to Nashville, Tennessee and will be held over a four-day period from Monday 10 to Thursday 13 March at the Music City Centre.

As North America’s premier technical conference for trucking, the exhibition is renowned for delivering first-class education to its audience on the latest industry practices and showcasing the best technology to maximize fleet performance and efficiency.

With Crane Electronics gearing up for its second exhibition appearance, we look at what awaits over 5000 attendees ready for a top-notch tradeshow in Nashville.

What are the details of the event?

  • When: Monday 10 to Thursday 13 March 2025
  • Where: Music City Center, 201 Rep. John Lewis Way South, Nashville TN, 37203
  • Time (EST): 6.45am to 8pm (Monday 10), 6.45am to 6.30pm (Tuesday 11), 6.30am to 10.30pm (Wednesday 12), 7am to 2pm (Thursday 13)
  • Who for: Professionals in the trucking and wider transportation industries, such as operators, manufacturers and suppliers

What to expect from the exhibition

The Transportation Technology Exhibition will host several of the trucking industry’s top manufacturers and suppliers, with experts presenting the latest advancements in transport technology, maintenance solutions and engineering practice. Providing the answers for companies to continue growing efficiently and successfully, exhibitors will be keen to give insight on how their offerings can help best utilize critical tools within trucking, such as automation and fleet management systems.

Many exhibitors will display their products in live demonstrations as part of the TMC’s Technology Ride-Along, which is returning for 2025 after previous success, and attendees will be able to interact with these products and ask questions – one of many opportunities for networking with fellow industry professionals throughout the four days.

All of this will be accessible across one sold-out exhibit hall, with TMC overseeing a primary emphasis on the technical, not the commercial.

Crane Electronics’ home for the exhibition will be on Stand 2829, as some of our brightest minds look forward to sharing our undeniable expertise on torque management and how this can ensure complete peace of mind in the reliability of truck and fleet maintenance processes.

Meanwhile, headline attractions of the TMC Annual Meeting include 20 educational sessions – made by fleets, for fleets – which promise to cover all aspects of vehicle design and sustainability. Content in the sessions is set to focus on a mix of ‘back to basics’ and advanced technology and will touch on:

  • Maintenance
  • Pressing regulatory compliance issues
  • Emerging truck and trailer technologies
  • Diagnostic and repair technologies
  • Key performance indicators and benchmark solutions
  • Equipment specification trends

For 2025, TMC outlined an aim to ‘advance technology through industry engagement’ as it continues to pride itself as trucking’s leading forum for getting things done collaboratively. And this is exactly what it intends to achieve at its annual meet, with over 100 task forces coming together to resolve the industry’s most pressing issues around advanced diagnostic solutions, part failures, electric vehicle standardization and more.

Who is the exhibition for?

TMC is an organization focused on securing the best standards and resources for the trucking industry and is a key division of trucking’s largest and most comprehensive trade group, the American Trucking Association (ATA). It was founded in 1963 and has grown to represent thousands of members, who are fleet operators, vehicle manufacturers, component suppliers and other professionals within the industry.

With that in mind, the primary audience of the Meeting and Exhibition is TMC’s members or professionals within the wider ATA membership. Industry players who do not have a connection to either body are also encouraged to attend due to the one-stop-shop nature of the event – where the biggest cross-section of fleet educators and specialists are all in one place. Putting its audience in touch with people they would have otherwise not had contact with – including some of North America’s top technical professionals and decision-makers in any field – sees first-time attendees often return to their next TMC event as fully fledged members.

In addition to the features already mentioned, full registration for the exhibition will give attendees access to a host of other perks. These include TMC’s Town Meeting, which will provide a summary of what’s happening within the organization and is set to be immediately followed by the Fleet Operators’ Forum; an opportunity for audience members to raise their own specific equipment issues for discussion with manufacturers and suppliers. Various amenity events providing more informative content over breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks – as well as a social event on the evening of Wednesday 12 March – will also be on offer for attendees.

Who will speak at the exhibition?

Key figures helping to deliver all sorts of game-changing services to transportation technology will appear in front of audiences across the event, including:

  • Donna England: President and CEO, Tennessee Trucking Association
  • Pamela Blass Bracher: Deputy General Counsel, American Trucking Associations
  • Jack Kennedy: CEO and Co-founder, Platform Science
  • Greg Hogden: CEO, Groendyke Transport
  • Shane Barnes: Vice President of Maintenance, PAM Transport
  • Greg Sutton: Vice President of Finance, Transland
  • Joe Phillips: Vice President of Fleet Maintenance and Equipment, Eagle Transport

How will the exhibition be scheduled?

The Transportation Technology Exhibition will kick off with a grand opening and reception at 5:45pm on Monday 10 March.

Following this, the Exhibition will be open to attendees over two protected, extended time blocks on Tuesday 11 March, from 10:15am to 2:15pm, and Wednesday 12 March, from 8:30am to 12:30pm. This gives Crane Electronics and fellow exhibitors exclusive audience time, with all other proceedings paused for these periods.

Engagements will include educational sessions and task force meetings scheduled across various time slots over the four days, alongside a wide range of activities throughout the meeting and exhibition.

For further information on scheduling, check out the full brochure of the TMC 2025 Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition.
