The tJRS (threaded joint rate simulator) is the only fully automated joint test bench that utilises a threaded fastener system. This means that joint conditions can be set up in the same way as in real fastener applications and the joint can be automatically ‘backed off’ after each test.
As a result, assembly tools can be tested offline, under the most realistic conditions of any automated joint simulator bench, in a quick and efficient manner.

As a result, assembly tools can be tested offline, under the most realistic conditions of any automated joint simulator bench, in a quick and efficient manner.
Traditionally, automated joint test benches have used friction brake systems instead of threaded fasteners to address two main challenges: the need to reverse or back-off after each rundown and the cumbersome process of reconfiguring joint characteristics.
Crane’s tJRS eliminates these issues. While friction brakes can easily be reset, addressing the back-off issue, they introduce many other problems. Most notably, they often result in joint simulators with different properties to the actual joints the tools are intended for. In contrast, Crane’s tJRS joint test bench sets the standard for accurate and precise torque management.
The WrenchLoader from Crane works by simulating the conditions of a particular torque application, allowing the user to test both digital and manual torque wrenches.
As the handle is turned and the wrench begins to move, the torque applied is measured via a Crane stationary transducer mounted on to the end of the WrenchLoader. This process allows the torque wrench to be calibrated with precision, accuracy and complete confidence.
OMS (Opta Management System) is our system torque software package which features a fully encompassing range of functions to provide a complete company-wide solution to all torque related activities.
The Mobile Torque Testing Station (MTTS) is a portable tool station which also provides a reliable platform and surface to test the torque readings of your tools at the side of the production line and a useful storage trolley for all of your tools and torque testing equipment.
The MTTS is compatible with the complete range of Crane Electronics torque measurement and auditing equipment and it can be supplied as a simple tool station or fully equipped to your specifications, making the Mobile Torque Testing Station perfect for the measurement of all continuous drive, impulse and hand torque tools…
The Mobile Auditing Station (MAS) is a portable torque and angle auditing station which provides a reliable platform and surface to test the torque readings of fasteners and critical joints in your assembly process as well as production and assembly tools.
