The TF series are engineered for specialised units that integrate any proprietary coupling manufacturer’s spacer. These couplings are versatile, accommodating a wide range of torques and speeds. All of the TF series are rated for operation up to 65°C, with an optional 100°C rating for more demanding applications.Â
Featuring a sealed data transmission system, the TF series couplings are ideal for environments exposed to water, oil, grease, and dust. This makes them robust and durable even in the harshest conditions. The TF, TFC, and TFD couplings are also ATEX certified, ensuring they are safe to use in environments with explosive substances.

All of the TF series are rated for operation up to 65°C, with an optional 100°C rating for more demanding applications. The TFC and TFD models are advanced versions of the original TF series first developed in the 1980s, offering enhanced performance and durability.
Various signal-conditioning packages are available to suit your specific requirements and bench mounted displays (for torque only) are supplied as standard.
This certification guarantees that these couplings do not become an ignition source, providing peace of mind and worker safety while meeting EU regulations.
The TF series are effectively maintenance-free because they use no bearings, ensuring long-lasting, reliable performance without the need for frequent maintenance. All TF transducers are also parallel bored as required before dispatch. We offer the TF series in standard configurations or we can custom design and manufacture the couplings to meet your exact design specifications or project brief.
The TR150 is a high resolution digital Load Cell display designed to work with all types of Load Cell and Strain Gauge Transducers.
The TR150 Load Cell indicator features a 7-digit LCD display making it perfect for monitoring applications from general industrial up to high accuracy reference standards. Other features include peak & trough capture, display update rates up to 25Hz, display hold / freeze, shunt calibration, integrated TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) functionality and optionally an RS232 serial data output.
The series of torque measuring flange’s that we provide are based on the standard ‘strain gauge’ principle. The TMFS units have an integral signal conditioner, which produce either analogue or digital outputs. These outputs are then transmitted through a non-contacting system.
There are no bearings between the rotor and stator and as such the unit is free from wear. The transducer has a very short flange to flange dimension and the rotor, being installed from one side, (normally the test specimen side) allows easy, cost effective assembly into a drive line. TMFS torque measuring flange’s are very robust and largely insensitive to bending and transverse forces.
Typical applications where the TMFS are used include…
The TorqueStar Lite is our established entry-level torque data collector from the revolutionary TorqueStar series, providing a simple and easy-to-use solution for measuring and collecting torque data.
The TorqueStar Lite torque data collector is ideal for users who want a quick and straight-forward ‘plug-and-play’ analyser with the added precision that the Crane brand guarantees. The TorqueStar Lite can connect to both static torque transducers and rotary torque transducers such as the CheckStar Multi, to measure torque and angle either during assembly tool testing or for verification when tightening a fastener.
The clear and sharp OLED screen on the TorqueStar Lite enables easy-to-view data and statistics…
