The MTTS is compatible with the complete range of Crane Electronics torque measurement and auditing equipment and it can be supplied as a simple tool station or fully equipped to your specifications, making the Mobile Torque Testing Station perfect for the measurement of all continuous drive, impulse and hand torque tools.
The MTTS trolley can also be supplied with a mounted WrenchLoader, allowing the user to test and calibrate torque wrenches by measuring the torque applied with precision accuracy, improving consistency and reducing operator fatigue.
We can also supply powered MTTS trollies with a ‘built-in’ battery system, allowing users to power and charge their equipment on the go, ideal for use across multiple assembly shift patterns.
The tJRS (threaded joint rate simulator) is the only fully automated joint test bench that utilises a threaded fastener system. This means that joint conditions can be set up in the same way as in real fastener applications and the joint can be automatically ‘backed off’ after each test.
As a result, assembly tools can be tested offline, under the most realistic conditions of any automated joint simulator bench, in a quick and efficient manner.
Traditionally, automated joint test benches have used…
The WrenchLoader from Crane works by simulating the conditions of a particular torque application, allowing the user to test both digital and manual torque wrenches.
As the handle is turned and the wrench begins to move, the torque applied is measured via a Crane stationary transducer mounted on to the end of the WrenchLoader. This process allows the torque wrench to be calibrated with precision, accuracy and complete confidence.
The performance of an assembly tool is highly dependent on the conditions of the actual production joint on which it is used, which is where joint kits come in.
Tooling engineers are well aware of the ‘mean shift’ term used to describe the different torque levels delivered by the same tool when applied to a soft or hard joint. It is therefore essential in the testing and setup of tools off of the production line, to allow for the joint condition which the tool will experience on the job.
Crane’s joint kits satisfy this requirement by using a bolt and suitably configured…
The TorqueStar Pro is the most complete and fully equipped torque indicator and data collector in the TorqueStar range. All of the features and benefits of the TorqueStar Plus model are included but with the addition of a series of more advanced measurement modes, graphical reading analysis, plus advanced statistics and connection capabilities.
The TorqueStar Pro helps users to measure, analyse and record critical assembly and quality control torque data. It connects via RF to our series of WrenchStar Multi digital torque wrenches and our CheckStar Multi rotary torque transducers, via the RFm wireless communication device.
The TorqueStar Pro data collector offers measurement modes including Track, Peak, Pulse, Click, Audit, MoveOn, Retighten and Yield, giving a complete range of data to measure…
